3 more fixtures for your Daventry Town FC diary as pre season starts to take shape.

National League North, Leamington FC will visit Elderstubbs on the 8th July for a 3 pm kick off. The Brakes will be formidable opposition following their promotion last season via the Southern Premier League play offs. Many supporters will remember the FA Cup tie back in 2011 when Town shocked the high league opponents by winning 2 1 in front of a crowd of 551. Former Town favourites, Tommy Berwick, Dior Angus and Jimmy Husband were in the visitors line up that day. Towns goals came from James Travis and Scott Cross.

Some familiar faces could be on show as Coventry United come to Town on Tuesday 25th July. Kick off will be at 7.45. Having only being formed in 2013, their team now play in the Midland Premier League. This is a step 5 league, the same level that Town and our near neighbours Rugby Town now play at.

Town will travel to another of Arron Parkinson's former teams, Hellenic League Division One West Easington Sports on Saturday 29th July. Kick off will be at 3pm.

The Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup is due to be played on August 5th. The draw is yet to be held.
