Town return to winning ways.
Ross Harris appeared on the bench after his sending off on Saturday. Adam Creaney and Adam Confue returned to the starting line up. Craig Robinson was also on the bench after recovering from a calf injury.
Two early long range efforts from Town in the first 3 minutes? Adam Creaney first then Phil Cassidy, both dealt with well by Sam Lomax in the Oadby Town goal.
Ant O’Connor was quick off his line to block a Lamar Parkes shot on the edge of his box on 5 minutes. The referee waved away the visitors appeals that the stopper handled outside the box.
Town were playing some lovely football and Fitzgerald and Bettles combined well but again the keeper does well on 17 minutes
Town took a deserved lead on 19 minutes. Jake Bettles again the creator, His cross was met by Adam Confue and he tried to bundle the ball over the line however KEIRAN FITZGERALD appeared to get the last touch right on the line.
Bettles created another chance 3 minutes later when his cross was headed just over the bar by Phil Cassidy.
Adam Confue put in Creaney on 28 and his shot is pushed wide by the keeper. From the corner Fitzgerald has a header turned over the bar by Lomax.
O’Connor was called into action as he saved a Keaton Towers header from close range on 30.
There was no mistake about the second goal scorer on 32 minutes. Ben Browne’s excellent cross was hooked into the net at the far post by JAKE BETTLES.
Another good save from Ant O’Connor as he charged down a shot in the 6 yard box in the 38th minute.
It was Bettles to the rescue in the 43rd minute when he cleared a superb overhead kick by Towers.

Oadby came straight out the blocks and forced another good save from O’Connor.
Town were looking for a third goal to seal the match and were dominating the early stages of the second half which Phil Cassidy going closest on the hour with a dipping volley that just cleared the bar.
One minute later and the visitors were back in the game, A quick break ended with the ball breaking to Josh Walsh and he finished well from close range.
Town continued with the pressure and McGowan went close when he ended a corner over the bar on 64.
TOM McGOWAN scored the vital third goal in the 69 minute after firing home from an acute angle.
Another lovely run from Ben Browne in the 74 minute and he found Fitzgerald whose cross is knocked just wide by Phil Cassidy.
On 78 minutes, Adam Confue had a shot that was deflected and from the corner Cassidy shoots just over the bar.
Town went close to getting a fourth goal with Cassidy, Confue and Bettles all going close in the last 10 minutes.
Town fully deserved their victory but the visitors deserved credit for a spirited performance. Did not look like a third form bottom of the table team to me.
